Passive House Bulgaria was established in 2011 to advance the Passive House concept in Bulgaria. The organisation is dedicated to providing training, showcasing built examples, sharing expertise, and managing certifications. Passive House Bulgaria has trained over 300 architects and industry professionals in energy-efficient building practices, contributing to the development of sustainable architecture in the country. They spearheaded the first certified Passive House project in Sofia and are currently managing numerous certifications nationwide. Passive House Bulgaria signed an affiliation agreement with iPHA in September 2024.
