Australian Passive House Association (APHA)
The Australian Passive House Association is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that aims to promote the Passive House Standard in Australia, raise awareness, advocate its use and provide education to the building industry. It supports Passive House practitioners, providing opportunities for networking and facilitates discussions through the provision of information locally. Promoting Passive House principles as a way of providing superior indoor comfort and air quality while reducing energy use and carbon emissions from Australia’s buildings, APHA seeks to enhance the uptake of the standard in the region by providing research on issues relating to its implementation, relating to climate, construction practices and regulations. APHA signed a pre-affiliation agreement with iPHA in November 2013.
