Bow Tie Construction is seeking a senior architectural technologist/senior design coordinator and design manager to join its team in Buckinghamshire, UK.

 

Two times RIBA & CIBSE award-winning eco-contractor Bow Tie Construction seeks a talented senior architectural technologist/senior design coordinator/design manager with exceptional design and 3D modelling skills and passion for sustainability.

 

Coordination in Autodesk Revit and Inventor are essential to our construction workflows and we are now integrating VR. The successful candidate will lead our growing design team and report to the managing director. Their main responsibilities will be ensuring timely delivery of information packages to all stakeholders in-line with RIBA plan of works, working from a friendly and sociable office with excellent air quality in High Wycombe, Bucks.

 

With projects on Grand Designs, Old House New Home and Don’t Move, Improve!, the successful candidate will be working for London’s premium Passivhaus construction company that punches well above its weight. The candidate would be managing a growing team and have ownership of 3D deliverables and the satisfaction of nurturing a small number of projects from inception to completion.

Alan Vega Pasos, PhD

Alan Vega Pasos, MSc, PhD, Mexican, based in South-east Mexico is looking for a position in the energy efficiency sector in Mexico, especially in the field of airtightness testing. In 2020 he completed his PhD in Building Technology at the University of Nottingham in the UK. The topic of his thesis was "Air infiltration modelling based on low-pressure airtightness measurements". He offers experience in airtightness testing with the blower door and also with the Pulse method (low-pressure). He has also used tracer gas methods to perform air infiltration tests.
